9/20/11: It's me, Rocky, just checking in! I had an okay summer and I'm still fit as a fiddle, but I continue to look for a new home. The young boys in the house keep jumping on me and I'm not a big fan of it. However, I still love to run and play and can't wait to start a new life with some awesome adults and older kids who know that dogs aren't toys. So what do you say? Give me a try, would you? Set up a time to meet lovable, handsome me. You won't regret it.

8/16/11: Hi everyone! I had an awesome morning. My NJBR agent brought one of his own dogs, a submissive-yet-headstrong Boxer named Lucky, and we had a good time. Of course, I was really excited at first and kept trying to mount her -- boys will be boys, right? -- but calmed down within 30 minutes. I even let her drink out of my fountain and lay down next to me for a photo shoot! I'm still a little stressed out living with two toddlers, but I've been on really good behavior and look forward to moving into a home where I can get lots of exercise with older kids or adults, not to mention a doggy buddy to hang with. If you're reading this, you're ready for an awesome boy like me, so inquire within and schedule a visit!

7/7/11: It's me, Rocky, checking in to make sure you haven't left something important off your summer to-do list… like adopt an awesome Boxer such as myself. My current adult companions are becoming increasingly busy raising two young boys, so I'm not getting nearly as much attention as I'd like. I'm pretty much keeping to myself in the back yard, working on my tan and using the waterfall feature as my personal drinking fountain. If you're looking for a best buddy you can take for runs, play with in the yard or give belly scratches to (I'll reciprocate on all counts!), pay me a visit!

6/15/11: Yes, I'm a gorgeous boy. I know it, you know it, so let's cut to the chase! My name's Rocky and I'm in need of a new home. I'm living in a house with two toddlers. I sometimes get a little cranked up and spooked when they play rough with me, which makes the adults in the house a little nervous. Watching and taking care of all three of us is a lot of work and it's best if I find a forever home without young kids. I love to play ball and run around in the back yard. I also love my quiet time and a whole lot of loving from my household humans. And, yes, I'm fully house trained, know basic commands and hand signals and love car rides. I was jumped by an unrestrained dog a few years ago while I was on a leashed walk (these Jersey Shore neighborhoods are 'ruff') and I can get a little nervous and dominant around a lot of other canines in places like dog parks. My NJ Boxer Rescue agent, however, says this isn't unusual and that a little corrective training will be really helpful. So, if you're looking for a gorgeous, playful, loving and loyal Boxer, send a note to Tim below... and let's meet!
